This is an unprecedented time of unique challenges. If you are experiencing a crisis and need food support, mental health resources, or housing assistance, we've compiled a list of resources in our community that are poised to help.

At some level, we all experience brokenness.

Life is hard, and unexpected hardships occur. It's in times like these when followers of Jesus are at their best. We want to be known as a church that cares for the needs of those in our neighborhood, community, and world.

In a variety of ways, our Care Ministries respond meaningfully in times of personal need. As you look through the ministries listed below, we'd encourage you to contact Brenda Benny ( ), our Director of Care Ministries, if you have questions or a specific need. Together, we'll discern whether or not we can help meet a need for you, a family member, or a friend.

Immediate Care:

Pastoral Urgent Care For Family Concerns

If you experience a family emergency and need to speak with a pastor, contact the church offices (Monday through Friday from 9:00am - 4:00pm) at 763.434.5995.

Hospitalization and Funerals

If you or a loved one are hospitalized, or if you need to make funeral arrangements, please contact our Brenda Benny, our Director of Care Ministries.

Church Family Care:

Prayer Team

The Prayer Team is a ministry available during the day or evening. If a situation arises that requires prayer, we'd love to pray for you. Call the prayer line at 763.434.5995 ext. 162, email the prayer team at or submit your request through our online form.

Helping Hands

This ministry can provide meals for you and your family, prepared and delivered by people from Constance Free Church. In times of need (surgery, illness, the death of a family member), many have benefited from this ministry. Contact our Director of Care Ministries, Brenda Benny for more information.

Group Care:

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA)

Only you can decide whether you want to give AA a try. Those who are in AA come because they finally gave up trying to control their drinking. Attendees are quick to find out that many people suffer from the same feelings of guilt, loneliness, and hopelessness. At Constance, we have our very own chapter of AA that meets on Monday evenings.

Divorce Care

Divorce Care is a small group experience for those who are going through or are healing from a divorce. This video-based format features real-life stories of people who have been through a divorce. An experienced leader facilitates discussion questions and subsequent conversations.

Grief Share

If you have experienced loss, Grief Share can provide a small group experience for you to find support and encouragement. Grief Share looks at the different stages of loss, how the soul changes through the death of a loved one, and the practical matters of life without that person.

Individual Care:

Christian Counseling

If you would benefit from Christian counseling, our pastoral staff can assist you in the referral process. We draw upon a range of therapists with different areas of specialty.

Elders Prayer Ministry

According to James 5, in our time of need, we ought to call upon the Elders of the church for prayer. Elders are available to pray for you before or after worship services or another time that is convenient for you.

Financial Counseling

This ministry provides financial counseling and assessment to help families, couples, or individuals at Constance Free Church solve their financial difficulties.

Stephen Ministry

Stephen is a ministry of one-to-one caregiving. A Stephen Minister can come alongside you in times of need to provide the ministry of encouragement has been trained in crises such as divorce, grief, loss, depression, and hospitalization.
